The 21st Anniversary Bula Interhash is ready to roll from 24th to 27th May

The biggest sporting event in Nadi has attracted close to 1700 hashers from 58 countries with the largest contingent from Australia followed by USA, UK, Malaysia, NZ, Indonesia …..

In keeping with hash tradition, the motto, aims and objectives of this unique sporting event, the hash house harriers will be given a chance and choices to run in 8 different run sites, stretching from Momi to Lomolomo countryside on 26th and 27th May

The tracks or trails have been carefully chosen and marked and all of them have short, medium and long distances, ranging from 3-5 km for short and up to 14km for the long runs except for the Ball Breaker Run which is approx. 18km

Due to difficult and different terrain, mountains, creeks, rivers etc hashers are expected to finish the runs within 2 ½ hrs hrs. All the runs are expected to start by 10.30 am (except Ball Breaker that will start earlier by 9.30) and up to 200 will be allowed in each of the runs. They’ll have a  chance to select a different run site the following day and by doing so will discover the real Fiji

Lunches and drinks will be served followed by hash circles (welcome ceremonies, hash activities etc) before everyone returns to their hotels. Later in the evening everyone comes to the main venue Prince Charles Park for evening entertainment, drinks and dinner

The Red Dress Run (RDR) which is a special charitable event will take place in Lautoka City on 24th May. RDR registration is now closed having reached 550 for this and we expect to raise well over 40 grand for charity. The proceeds will go towards Nadi Hospital

Lautoka City will be a Sea of Red from midday as all the hashers will be dressed in fancy red dresses running through the main streets and the outskirts of Lautoka City and this particular event is considered to be the largest ever charity run in Fiji

The RDR will start and finish at Lautoka Club who have accommodated our request generously from 2pm. Earlier we’ll be hosted by Lautoka City Council for lunch at the famous Botanical Gardens from 1-2pm and all the buses from Nadi will leave at 12 noon.

Paradise Beverages is the major sponsor of RDR who have come out strongly to support this worthy cause

Friday 25th May will be the official opening program at PCP and the gates open at 5pm.

There’ll be a news/media briefing on Wednesday 23rd May at Tourism Fiji , Namaka, at 11am

More than 40 % of hashers have already arrived in the country

5 countries are bidding for 2020 Interhash and they are India, Dubai, Trinidad and Tobago, New Zealand and Malaysia. All registered hashers will be given a chance to vote on Saturday 26th May and winner announced on Sunday 27th at the closing ceremony

A march will take place on Saturday morning at 9.30 am through the main street of Nadi starting from Old Temple Site near the Nadi Bridge to Prince Charles Park
